One of my guilty pleasures is shopping for and finding unique decor to make my eyes happy when I’m at home. In the heart of Old Town, El Centro Artesano lures you in with bright artwork covering shelves, ceilings, and walls. Any direction you turn your gaze to has something new to discover.
The first thing that caught my eye were the beautifully painted pots. You can buy individually or in sets.
Using the natural color of the clay that makes up the pot, the artist used subtly contrasting paint to create a miniature masterpiece. The pot on the right is one of my absolute favorites.

Displayed are just a fraction of the windchimes hanging from the ceiling. You can find chimes that fit in your hand or as large as a person displayed throughout the El Centro Artesano. Not only are they very different in appearance, but each has varying pitches of sound: deep, soft, bright, clanging, sweet. The wood chimes were my favorite.
El Centro Artesano is unique in that the majority of its art pieces are not only pretty to look at, but functional as well. Be brave and replace your generic white outlet covers with something more colorful!
