I went to Plant Power in Ocean Beach for the first time last week. The first question I asked was, how long have you been open? The second, can I have the Bacon Cheeseburger? They have been open three years, guys. I don’t know how I never visited before now, but this place is amazing! For anyone who doesn’t eat meat, is dieting, or just changing up your nutritional routine, Plant Power is worth checking out.
Very modern and using technology to the fullest, Plant Power has kiosks where you can order food inside as well as outside.
If you’re in a hurry, Plant Power even has a drive thru where you can order food quickly.
All items are priced under $10, most being approximately $6-$8 so very comparable to other fast food minus the grease!
I’ve eaten a lot of soy based “meat” products and I have to say, the bacon on this bacon cheeseburger is the closest in flavor and texture to the real thing. Fun test: Buy it for a friend without telling them what it is and see if they notice a difference!
For those of you who love breakfast, you have options there too! You have until 11:00 am to hurry in. I personally am super eager to try the “Chicken & Waffles Sandwich.
