This week’s San Diego hot spot is La Jolla Colony Park! I love this place so much because of its space, beauty, and thoughtful features.
I’ve walked along the paths more than once but didn’t realize how many cool features the park really had until maybe my fourth venture in. A friend of mine lives very close to La Jolla Colony Park and takes her puppy Nacho for walks along the trails. If you like to run or even just appreciate a scenic route, La Jolla Colony Park is a perfect option.
One commodity that is difficult to come across in San Diego is space. This expansive grassy field is just what the doctor ordered if you’re feeling closed in or plan to have a simple picnic.
If you are looking for an extra kick to your workout, the park is sprinkled with 20+ exercise stations to inspire and challenge yourself.
I was especially excited to learn about the free library. Pick a book, put another one back. Share an adventure with the community.
There is even a bench conveniently located next to the library to plop down for a read.
Plenty of room to bring a friend!
