Being active and staying fit is a central part of who I am. And, like many others, I’m always looking for a great deal. So, when it came time to choose my gym, I started to do some research and quickly fell in love. I wanted a gym located near to where I live, affordable, and more than adequately equipped. EOS fits the bill on all accounts.
Here are some of the many features that impressed me about EOS Fitness.
1) The gym is over 40,000 SQFT! This place is huge, ensuring minimal wait times for equipment even at peak hours. Multi level parking is located next to the building as well to accommodate members at all times.
2) EOS has an outdoor gym. A genius idea. Living in CA where the weather rarely drops below needing a light jacket, why wouldn’t you have an outdoor gym? It’s not just one or two pieces of equipment either. It’s another full gym right by the front door of the building.
3) Even more unique, EOS has an indoor cinema for cardio. Bicycles, treadmills, stairs, and ellipticals are all lined up in theatre rows for members to work out and watch at the same time. The room is pitch black, with quality speakers, and you can check to see which movie is playing each day just as you might going to the cinema.
4) Membership starts at $15.99/mo. Wow. That includes full use of the facility and you can cancel at any time, no contract. You can upgrade for $5 more to participate in any number of classes offered on a weekly basis or to a different plan of your choice.
5) EOS is open 24 hours. Deal breaker for me. If you have a busy schedule that calls for unconventional hours, its time to check them out.
6) EOS has something to offer for everyone. Amenities include EOS Cinema, Kid’s Club, Free Weights, Personal Training, Resistance Machines, Tanning, Indoor and Outdoor Basketball Courts, Group Exercise Classes, Steam Room, Certified Arthritis Pool, Cardio Equipment with Personal TV Screens, and more!
7) Its close to everything. I can’t count the number of times I’ve run across the street to Target or Ralph’s to pick something up. On days you’re feeling ambitious, it’s close enough to take a short drive over to the beach for a scenic run to compliment the rest of your workout.
