Big Bay Boom
Take your pick of a bay side location. Shelter Island, Harbor Island, North Embarcadero, and Coronado Ferry Landing all offer unique vantage points for the fireworks display going off at 9:00 pm.
Sea World
Make a day of your 4th of July; visit Sea World and stay for the show. Or, watch the fireworks display from Mission Bay. The show begins at 9:40 pm.
Cabrillo National Monument
“Above the Fireworks Event” takes place at Cabrillo National Monument from 6:00-10:00 pm. This show allows you to view all of the other shows simultaneously from a high vantage point. The cost is $50, up to 10 people per car (use common sense/safety first)!
Hornblower
If you’d rather be on the water versus watching from land, the Hornblower may be the option you’re looking for! Starting at $178, you can choose a departure of 6:30 pm or 7:00 pm. Tour length is three hours and includes a buffet, DJ, glass of champagne, private table, and an amazing view to watch the Big Bay Boom.
Del Mar Fairgrounds
Go to the fair! Fireworks begin at 9:00 pm. For $120, you receive admission, dinner, two specialty cocktails, preferred parking, and a view from Del Mar’s speakeasy Wicked Wahine. Arrive as early as 5:00 pm. Dinner takes place 6:00-8:30 pm. Time is of the essence as ticket sales end after July 3rd!
