Old Town Neighborhood Guide

old town

Full of vibrant colors on each corner, Old Town is home to history, a huge assortment of Mexican cuisine, boutique shops, and parks. Homes and businesses reveal what San Diego colonial life was like in the mid 1800’s. The trolley station is just a few blocks away and orange green double level sight-seeing buses drive through Old Town hourly. Aromas of fresh tortilla lure you in to check out each eatery. Hike up Presidio Park and treat yourself to full views of Pacific Beach on one side and Mission Valley on the other. Finally, if you want to see a truly fantastic sight, drop in on the Day of the Dead. Costumed skeletons dance in the street at night and people wander through the cemetery to pay their respects or take part in the haunted ghost tour.
